Community Announcement

Council advises the community that the building waste drop-off area at the Waste Management Centre is closed until further notice. A fire at the rear of the centre was controlled by the island’s Fire Services team over the weekend, and the area is currently being monitored. There is no danger to the Waste Management Centre or other buildings in the area, and details about the reopening of the building waste drop-off area will be advised when known.
