Community engagement notice - revised Preamble

The Norfolk Island Governance Committee (NIGC) thanks everyone who made a submission on the proposed Preamble.

The NIGC considered the wide-ranging feedback and created a preamble to reflect community views.

This has been provided to the Australian Government for consideration. It is expected that changes will be made as it will require legal review and undergo internal government consultation.

This process is expected to take a number of months

Community engagement by the community representatives continues each Wednesday, from 4-6pm at the Supper Room.
