COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

The NIGC is seeking the community’s views about interim arrangements for the operation of the Norfolk Island Regional Council post-December 2024 and pending establishment of a new governing body.

The available options are:

• Extending the term of the current Council Administrator;
• Appointing one or more alternative Council Administrators; or
• Electing a Regional Council for an interim period.

Community engagement on Wednesday, 3 April 2024 at the Rawson Hall Supper Room will be dedicated to discussing the above options.
