Road Closures during Blasting at Youngs Quarry – FRIDAY 30 AUGUST

Blasting at Youngs Quarry will take place on Friday 30 August 2024.

Partial and full road closures will be implemented at the Cascade Road/Harpers Road Intersection, Young Road and Matts Ground Road to ensure public safety during blasting, which will occur between 11am and 4pm.

Traffic controls will be in place to ensure community safety, and we thank the community for their understanding. Boat owners who are planning on going out to sea during this time should ensure their boats are 1km to 2km offshore should they be in the vicinity during these hours and should also make alternate plans for departing from or arriving at Cascade Pier between 11am and 4pm
